Welcome to the Holloways Beach Residents Association Web Site !

Holloways Beach is located just 10 Minutes North of Cairns in Far North Queensland, Australia.

Whilst the Holloways Beach community is so close to Cairns and it's cosmopolitan lifestyle and numerous attractions, the Holloways Beach community itself still feels completely isolated, with a relaxed tropical atmosphere.

The beach itself is a truly tropical beach, with coconut palms overhanging the beachfront and the calm temperate waters of the Coral Sea.
A stinger net that is installed during the Summer Months, mainly October through to May the following Year, combined with an idyllic climate, makes protected swimming possible throughout the entire year.

Now with a Resort overlooking the beach, a Balinese Themed Hideaway right on the beachfront as well as the numerous B&Bs located within Holloways Beach, there is always plenty of accommodation available, ranging from "very affordable" to 5 star.

There are also several dining facilities available, including a Cafe with outdoor dining right on the beachfront and also a Restaurant with both indoor and outdoor dining, also right on the beachfront.
Both the Cafe and the Restaurant offer excellent food, with an unsurpassed tropical atmosphere, both overlooking the Coral Sea out to the Great Barrier Reef.

The beach also has a grassy foreshore back from the sandy beachfront, where several BBQ facilities are located under the palm trees, as well as an amenities block with toilets and showers.

The Holloways Beach Markets are held on this same grassy foreshore on the 2nd Sunday of each Month, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and offers some fantastic bargains.
